Lying within the heart of the Great Glen The Heathers offers quality bed and breakfast within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Overlooking Loch Lochy towards the forested mountains beyond, The Heathers represents an ideal central base from where the Highlands can be easily explored to best advantage. |
Located off the main A82 Road approximately 5 miles north east of Spean Bridge, the local area provides a wide variety of outdoor pursuits including walking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, sailing, golfing, fishing, canoeing and pony trekking as well as numerous less arduous activities and places of interest to see.
With so much to do and see, relaxation is an equally essential element of a good holiday. Our guests' lounge is both spacious and furnished to a very high standard and also offers wonderful views of Loch Lochy and the fantastic scenery of our location.
Our bedrooms are all en-suite with two double and one twin bedded room on the first floor and a single room, suitably equipped for less able bodied guests, located on the ground floor. All rooms are equipped with colour TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Wi-Fi Internet access is available.

Breakfast is served in our dining room which overlooks the main patio area and offers a splendid view across Loch Lochy towards Achnacarry and the hidden glen of Loch Arkaig. Wherever possible local produce is sourced and served to you at breakfast. Gluten-free and other special diets are catered for, we simply ask you to let us know when ordering.
Externally, The Heathers sits within 2.5 acres of grounds, sympathetically maintained to preserve their Highland character as well as their link to the past in railway history. The decking area is a popular area for guests on warm summer evenings when the mixed scents of the many home grown flowers blend with the pure mountain air and the trickling sound of water from the raised centre feature all combine to aid relaxation after a days adventure in The Highlands.
